Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) rounded-off a spectacular 2015 by announcing the start of sales of the new CB Hornet 160R in India, on of the most awaited motorcycles after its showcase in August, earlier this year.
CB Hornet 160R leads its class when it comes to power with a 163cc engine that is powerful enough to provide that extra thrust. Specially designed to deliver good low end torque, the advanced engine also achieves a compression ratio of 10:1, delivering the right punch of power. The new generation X-shaped LED tail light enhances the rear look of the bike. Aerodynamically forward leaning dynamic tank shrouds with carbon pattern tank cover, add muscle to the bike.
Speaking at the launch, Keita Muramatsu - President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd, said, “Indian youth is supremely ambitious and confident, they believe in their dreams. We are also proud to announce that CB Hornet 160R will be one of the first motorcycle in its category to meet BS-IV norms, well ahead of April 2017-regulation timeline”
The CB Hornet 160R will be initially available for sale in 21 locations, including Goa. Representing The bike is priced aggressively at Rs 79,900 onwards (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
