The loyalty card will be available the airport and other entry points
A loyalty card aimed at the international and domestictourist visiting Goa has been launched. The card will guarantee holdersdiscounts anywhere between 5 – 30 % depending on the outlet. Priced at Rs. 1000it will be available at airports and other entry points into the state.
The card is aimed at providing a unique add-on service tothe existing tourism segment with a key focus on data collection that willencourage repeat business via brand Goa. The concept revolves around the clubcard/loyalty program as in the case of the Spanish model i.e. ‘Spain Save’whereby, the card holder will enjoy a host of privileges in the form ofoffers/discounts across the board in Goa via participating boutique stores,hotels, restaurants, clubs, cafes and other retail points.
Through the retail process and subsequent service cycle, agreat deal of effective database collection and management is generated wherebysalient incremental packages could be created and retailed to precipitate anelement of ‘repeat business’ and promotion of GTDC hospitality options thusrewarding the tourist/customer with an add-on service and developing along-term revenue model for the corporation.
The footballer Beto is the brand ambassador. Various brand leaders already participatingwithin the loyalty program include Goa’s legendary Club Titos, Nike stores,Bharne Creations and Lifestyle, Maracas, Mog Café, Panjim Inn and a host ofothers all offering unique privileges and discounts to the card holder and theend user.
Shawn Gracias Chairman, Club Goa said this card was a valueadd to all the tourists visiting the state. He said “We intend to graduallytake this product national and will approach other tourism departments in thecountry.”
