Drug mafia could be defaming Vinoda: Vijai Sardesai

Drug mafia could be defaming Vinoda: Vijai Sardesai
PANAJI
Goa Forward supremo Vijai Sardesai has brushed aside the ‘defamatory' allegations floating around on social media about his MLA and minister Vinoda Paliencar,
hinting that political rivals or even the drug lobby could be behind it.
When The Goan contacted Vijai Sardesai, he insisted that the activist Aires Rodrigues had no locus standi in the matter.
"Why do you give him so much importance? He has been consistently making allegations and targeting only one minister. Could it not be that he
is doing it on behalf of somebody in the drug mafia because off late he has ruffled so many feathers of those in the narcotics trafficking. So many people would want to become minister, could it not be that these allegations are on their behalf?" Vijai Sardesai asked. Sardesai also questioned how an allegation can be bandied about when there is no complaint.
