QUEBEC
In the digital age, security online is vital. Organised by Melissa and Priscilla Fernandes, the online Cybersecurity Clinic hosted by the Quebec Goan Association (QGA) in Quebec on January 27 offered members practical insights into protecting themselves online.
This interactive event, the first of many planned, equipped attendees with essential knowledge, facilitated by experienced members. Dialogue and engagement were encouraged, ensuring members left empowered to navigate cyberspace confidently.
Meanwhile, the Valentine's Day at the Olympia Grille Restaurant, DDO, Quebec, on February 10 was a great success, fostering community spirit and joyous camaraderie. From romantic décor to delectable cuisine and captivating entertainment, the event provided an evening of shared laughter and cherished memories.
Both events exemplify the organisation's commitment to educating members on digital safety and fostering connections within the community!
Looking forward, the next significant event on the calendar is the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for March 23 at St Michael and All Angels Church in Pierrefonds, Quebec from 2 pm to 4 pm. During this gathering, all members will have the opportunity to elect the new president who in turn will form his/her own team.
