Dubai Goans staged the ‘Konkan Carnival’ at QD's Dubai Creek Resort on February 22 from 2 pm to 1 am, to celebrate Konkan culture and family fun.
The event was packed with activities ranging from kids' entertainment and competitions to captivating performances and spot prizes. The revellers indulged in the flavours of Konkan cuisine while grooving to non-stop music and entertainment that kept the energy levels high throughout the day.
The musical line-up was a major highlight, featuring Goa's top band ‘Black in White’, alongside the energetic ‘Jukebox Jammers’ and the dynamic duo ‘Johnny B Gud’ with Reza, supported by talented DJs Daenan, Tony, Manfred, and Joel, with MC Hansel keeping the crowd engaged. Agnelo D’Souza led the Carnival Parade and opened the Konkan Carnival 2025.
The Dubai Goans team comprising Allen, Neville and Billy expressed gratitude to the overwhelming response and unwavering support of Goans in Dubai.
