TGG has helped to bring tradition and culture of the Goan diaspora together. We have read some interesting articles which keep Goans all over the world connected. Keep up this good work. I hear very good reviews of TGG both from Goa and overseas. Let’s roll on to the second year.

CONNECTING GOANS

Congratulations on your first anniversary to everyone involved with TGG. My impression of TGG is that it is like a basket that gathers as many stories from across the globe relevant to the fellow Goan.

TGG has truly lived up to its mission statement of connecting Goans and the Goan communities across the world. What TGG has done really well is publicising as many events around globally under one roof. UNIQUE WEEKLY

My heartiest congratulations to TGG on the first anniversary of its publication. It is a unique weekly which highlights news, events, achievements and lifestyles of Goans and Goan communities across the world. Surely, it is great to have a weekly like TGG which also helps connect the Goan diaspora globally.

I love to read and to know what is happening globally among the Goan communities and TGG has it all on its Saturday issue.

TGG not only just helps in connecting Goans and Goan communities across the world but it gives us an opportunity to know, understand and learn so much from each other. TGG also helps in promoting all Goan communities globally. My best wishes to TGG.

BRINGS GOANS CLOSER

I would like to thank TGG for getting us Goan across the globe closer to each other. Even though we are away from our country, we feel very connected to our Goa and Goan culture. Every Saturday, we wait and get to know what happens around the globe with our Goans.

According to me and all Goans who read TGG, this is the best thing to happen for us Goans. Despite living in different parts of the world, we are still deeply rooted to our Goa and get all the information about other Goans around the world.

I would like to thank all those involved in TGG and a big congratulations on completion of your first anniversary. I pray that you all have many more anniversaries and successes as the years go by. Congrats and God Bless.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

TGG has definitely given me more of an insight into how Goans are adapting to their lives abroad in various countries but still maintaining the culture for most part. It’s very informative and gives one an idea of where our Goans are most active. Heartwarming to learn of all the activities that happen globally. Definitely mission accomplished by TGG.

GOOD, HONEST JOURNALISM

Goan journalism has writ large its history, something to be proud of. This is true of anywhere a Goan journalist has put pen to paper, fingers to the typewriter or voice to a tape. TGG pursues good and honest journalism.

With the Goan diaspora spread far and wide, news from home, and nostalgia about Goan pasts far and wide keep the hearts of migrants warm and connected. Congratulations to TGG!

INTERESTING INITIATIVE

I have been receiving TGG regularly and this interesting weekly initiative helps me to keep abreast of Who is Who of Goans round the world. On reading an article on Goan Missionaries in the TGG some months back, I was able to contact Sr Rosalina Rebello doing missionary work in a far-off place in the State of Goiás in South Central Brazil. Sr Rosalina is from Curtorim, the land of my ancestors. Here is how TGG helped to connect and communicate.

UNITING GOANS

Congratulations to TGG on its 1st anniversary. They undertook the task of uniting the Goan diaspora worldwide and knocked it out of the park. TGG has provided a great platform for global Goan communities to connect and share their successes. TGG has given us all a voice, highlighted our cultural contributions and struggles through ongoing stories and features. Keep up the amazing work. Mog Asun!

VALUABLE PLATFORM

TGG is a valuable platform for Goans worldwide to share their voice, learn about happenings in other parts of the globe, and created a global community.

It has published timely articles that were representative of rich cultural identity, and diverse voices, covering lively topics such as community celebrations, innovations, entrepreneurship, historical diasporic movements, and pioneers. I congratulate the team on its first anniversary, and wish them all the very best!

LOVE READING TGG

TGG is a biggest source to connect us Goans all over the world and keeps us updated on what’s happening around our communities worldwide. And yes, I love reading TGG and sharing with others too. Thank you and keep it going TGG team.

Ashney Rebello (Celebrity chef, Vancouver)

REFRESHING JOURNALISM

TGG has successfully extended its reach globally to various Goan associations and has tried hard to highlight achievements of Goans across the world. They have kept us abreast of the past news and current developments in many Goan communities around the world, without which we would not have known about it.

I feel TGG is standing tall today after one year because it has truly lived up to its mission of connecting Goans and Goan communities across the world. For example, TGG wrote and published several articles about the Quebec Goan Association (QGA) about our history, our current and past events and gave us worldwide recognition. Many people who had not heard about our association now know about it. Even some friends are surprised to see the QGA in print and send us TGG to make sure that we have seen these articles.

The QGA wishes every success to TGG which will keep all Goans connected by their refreshing journalism.

Blanche Da Costa (President, QGA Quebec)

UNIQUE INITIATIVE

TGG is a unique initiative and the first of its kind that has been consistent and provided the global community a platform to showcase its achievements.

TGG has far exceeded its mission of connecting us Goans. Would like to take this opportunity to thank the team leaders for their hard-work and resilience in the sustainability of this initiative, which has not only connected us virtually, but they made every attempt to meet community leaders during their visits to Goa to learn more about various initiatives undertaken around the globe.
