MARGAO: The Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways has informed the Lok Sabha that it has decided to start an examination Centre for IMU-CET ( Indian Maritime University- Common Entrance Test) in Goa for 2025-26.
The Ministry was replying to a question posed by South Goa MP Viriato Fernandes. The MP also raised the issue with Ministry of External Affairs Indian Seafarers held captives in foreign jails and the measures taken to secure their release.
