The Goa Government on Thursday appointed senior IAS officer Ravi Dhawan as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL).
Dhawan will relace IAS officer Hemant Kumar who was holding additional charge of the post while serving as commissioner of commercial taxes. It may be recalled that earlier officer Swayandipta Pal Chaudhuri was earlier shunted out from the position of MD after allegations of financial irregularities.
The order of appointment issued by under secretary personnel Maya Pednekar on Thursday says that Ravi Dhavan has been appointed as CEO of IPSCDL from immediate effect. Dhawan who has served in Delhi administration has been recently transferred to Goa.
