PANAJI: Governor of Goa, P S Sreedharan Pillai expressed deep sorrow over the passing away of K Sankaranarayanan who was the Governor of Goa from September 2011 to May 2012. He was also Governor of six States for many years. The Governor lauded K Sankaranarayanan as a popular leader who contributed a lot to the development of Kerala during his tenure as the Finance Minister. Besides, being a strong supporter of ethical politics he was also a very practical leader who had excellent rapport with leaders across the political spectrum, he said. The Governor fondly recalled the release of his Malayalam book “Anupaman Jeevitham”. The Governor conveyed his condolences to the family members and prayed that his soul may rest in peace.
