MARGAO: Ambelim Quepem secured a 3-1 victory over JK Caterers Maina in the inaugural match of the 18th Rebello Pandal All Goa Football Tournament, held at the St. Rita Church Ground in Maina on Tuesday.
Ambelim Quepem took control of the game with goals from Shelton Fernandes, Dylon Fernandes, and Bradley Fernandes. In reply, JK Caterers Maina managed to pull one back through Joywin, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Ambelim from claiming the win.
Ivon Fernandes, the goalkeeper for Ambelim, was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance, earning the accolade from Ivonna Rebello.
