PANAJI: The Annual Global Walk for Peace was organised on 1st October 2024 to mark Senior Citizens Day by the Association of Senior Citizens of Calangute in collaboration with the Lions Club of Calangute.
The walk started from Dolphin Circle, Calangute, and ended at Senior Citizens Ghar, Calangute. Lions Club member PMJF Lion PadmaKumar Nair flagged off the rally, and a health talk was given to the senior citizens by Dr Mellisa.
PMJF Lion Filipe Dias, President of the Senior Citizens Association, along with Dr Kuldeep D’mello, President of the Lions Club of Calangute, Past District Governor PMJF Lion Saish Lawande, and other members, were also present.
