PANAJI: The Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA) hosted a full-day Literary Review and Compering Session at Ravindra Bhavan’s Black Box Hall, bringing together Romi Konkani writers for discussions on literature and presentation skills.
The event featured a critical review of Romi Konkani literature led by experts, including Dharma Chodankar, Vincy Quadros, and Pandharinath D. Lotlikar. It also marked the release of ‘Soter-Sorg’, a collection of essays by the late Soter R. Barreto, originally published in Gulab magazine. The book release was attended by Chief Guest Fr. Ave Maria Afonso and Barreto’s family members.
The day concluded with a workshop on effective compering by Agnelo (Borim). With 50 writers in attendance, the event was hailed as a success.
