CANACONA: Massaging babies has been a traditional practice across the State, and in recognition of their dedication to this service, two elderly women in Canacona were felicitated for having provided oil massaging and bathing services to 2,000 babies and their mothers. Draupadi Dhuri from Colomb-Canacona and Pratibha Komarpant from Kepewada-Patnem were felicitated by Canacona Councillor Shubham Komarpant on the occasion of the Kshatriya Komarpant Brothers Cricket Premier League final prize distribution. While Dhuri has been offering these services for the last 50 years, Komarpant has been involved in these services for over three decades.
