MARGAO: Parish Youth Nuvem stormed into the Lourdes festival soccer finals after beating Curtorim Gymkhana via tie breaker 5-4 in all Goa inter village Football tournament, organised by UC Utorda in memory of late Nicholas Rodrigues.
PY Nuvem took the lead in the 12th minute through Maslem Barretto. The lead was short lived as Curtorim equalised in the 23rd minute through the boots of Joywin Carneiro who was outstanding. At the lemon break teams were tied 1-1.
In the second half, both the teams exhibited a good game but failed to score. In the tie- breaker, Nuvem held the upper hand.
Godfrey Mascarenhas ,Joywin Costa, Jesus Rodrigues, Alvito Dias converted for PY Nuvem while Joywin Carneiro, Rhay Dias and Ryan Fernandes were on target for Curtorim Gymkhana
Man of the match was Joywin Carneiro Curtorim Gymkhana by chief guest Raymond Azavedo.
