MARGAO: Raia Sporting Club clinched a 2-1 victory over Raitura Sports Club in the GFA's Third Division league at the Don Bosco Oratory Ground in Fatorda on Monday.
The match began with high energy as Raitura Sports Club took an early lead in the 10th minute. A well-executed move down the right flank led to Milder Soares finding the net with a precise finish, establishing Raitura's early dominance. However, Raia Sporting Club responded quickly, leveling the score in the 27th minute thanks to a goal from Ravindra Gaude.
The intensity ramped up as Raia intensified their offensive efforts, and just before halftime, Mayuresh Gaude delivered the decisive blow, scoring the match-winner in the 42nd minute.
