PANAJI
In a heart-warming display of tradition and community spirit, farmers residing around the Big Foot have ensured the continuation of a cherished custom this Good Friday. Upholding their age-old practice, they lovingly served "pez" (rice broth) to both visitors and locals, regardless of caste or creed. This symbolic gesture of unity saw Kanji, prepared in a traditional copper pot, poured into coconut shells, offering a taste of tradition to all who partook. Visitors and locals alike expressed their gratitude, labelling the experience as uniquely Goan.
