CANACONA
Canacona police have arrested a native from Uttarakhand on charges of possessing charas worth Rs 54,500 on Wednesday evening.
According to Canacona police, a narcotic raid was conducted on specific information and police arrested one Manoj Kumar in illegal possession of charas. The accused, a native from Bageshwar-Uttarakhand was found in possession of 109 gms of charas worth Rs 54,500. Police recovered the same and the accused person has been remanded to two days in police custody. Canacona PSI Vishal L Velip is investigating the case.
