Two persons have been booked on charges of illegally organising a bullfight in Mandrem on Sunday.
According to reports, ‘Dhirio’ (bullfights) are illegally being organised in Arambol, Mandrem and Korgao areas of Pernem taluka.
A similar bullfight was illegally organised in Mandrem on Sunday. Police was informed about the bullfight and that a bull owner had won Rs 18 lakh in the competition.
Mandrem police later booked a case against two persons, Rigved Naik and Arif Mulla, in this connection.
