Fire officials explaining to a student the skill involved in extinguishing fire
MAPUSA: A fire evacuation drill was conducted recently conducted at Dnyanprassarak Vidyalaya, Mapusa. The Fire personnel from Panaji and Mapusa Fire Stations conducted the drill. The Sub Officer of Panaji Fire Station PramodMahale and the Sub Officer of Mapusa Fire Station Ashok Parab headed the drill.
In the mock drill exercise the fire officials rescued a student from class ‘seventh’ who was trapped on the second floor.
The Sub Officer of Panaji Fire Station Pramod Mahale explained about the various situations and how to safely rescue everyone to a safe place. The team also demonstrated the use of different fire extinguishers like water type extinguisher, foam extinguisher, ABC fire extinguisher, CO2 fire extinguisher.
