CANACONA: Speaker and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar on Saturday stated that the Harwale Rudreshwar Yatra would teach the new generation how to protect Indian culture and unity.
He was speaking after the Rudreshwar Rath Yatra was welcomed in Canacona on Saturday.
The Rath Yatra was welcomed at Karmalghat and Tawadkar garlanded the Rath Yatra when it reached the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue near the Chaudi KLTC Stand.
CMC Chairperson Sara Sambha Desai, Councillors Ramakant Naik Gaonkar, Dhiraj Naik Gaonkar, Amita Pagi, Neetu Desai, Shubham Komarpant, Loliem-Polem Sarpanch Nisha Chari, Deputy Sarpanch Chandrakant Sudhir, panch Sachin Naik, and Poinguinim Panch Praveer also sought blessings during the Harwale Rudreshwar Yatra. Convenor Janardan Bhandari felicitated Tawadkar and others during the Rath Yatra.
