JCI Vasco and Porvorim, in collaboration with the teaching-learning and education technology cell and IQAC of St Joseph Vaz College, organised an informative session focused on ICT Tools for the teaching staff. The event was attended by 12 faculty members who greatly benefited from the session. Serving as the resource person was JC HGF Saravanan R, a National Trainer of JCI India. The session commenced with a short prayer led by Dr Melwin D'souza, Assistant Professor in Chemistry, followed by a warm welcome address from Angela Serrao, the IQAC Coordinator. The resource person then delved into his presentation, which involved an interactive discussion about various ICT Tools for teaching, including Learning Management Systems (LMSs), Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), Collaborative Tools, Presentation Tools, and Assessment Tools. Emphasising the importance of selecting the appropriate ICT tools, the resource person highlighted the need to employ different types of tools to avoid monotony in content delivery.
