Konkani gets its first book on Psychology

‘Xallik Manasxastr Bharotiyo Son’dorbhantlean’, a translation of the English book ‘School Psychology in Indian Context’ written in Roman script of Konkani was released at the hands of IAS officer Prasanna Acharya, at the ongoing Seventh ASPSA Internation Conference organised by Asia Pacific School Psychology Association in collaboration with St Xavier’s College, Mapusa and Fr Agnel College of Arts & Commerce, Pilar. 

The book authored by Dr Panch Ramalingam is translated by the Secretary General of the Global Roman Lipi Abhiyan, Michael Jude Gracias and edited by Fr Ave Maria Afonso under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Janet Fernandes, HOD of Department of Psychology at St Xavier’s College Mapusa.

The 7th APSPA International Conference in Goa focuses on the theme ‘AI and the future of education and School Psychology’ organised by Asia Pacific School Psychology Association (APSPA) and Indian School Psychology Association (InSPA) in collaboration with St Xavier’s College Mapusa and Fr Agnel College Pilar. 300 delegates from India, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangaladesh, Palestine & UAE Dubai are attending the conference.
