The Colva police has registered an offence against a Romanian national after he was found in possession and using satellite phone of Thuraya make with one Orange SIM card.
Since the Orange SIM card is banned in India, the police seized the same from the possession of the Romanian national Calina Virgil, resident of Bucharest, Romania at a starred resort at Cavelossim-Mobor.
The police has registered an offence under section 6(1A) Indian Wireless Telegraphy Act 1933 and Sec 20 Indian Telegraph Act 1885.
