The youth associated with the local organization ‘Tree of Hope’ have planted 800 saplings on the Mandrem plateau and are also taking care of the already planted trees here. With a mission to plant more and more trees in the area, the group has been nurturing nature for the past four years. The group has appealed to the locals to conserve and preserve nature, which has been destroyed with the developmental works and constructions. “Take a vow to plant a tree and take care of it till it grows,” appeal the youth from ‘Tree of Hope’.
