MARGAO: Ambelim Sports Club delivered a dominant performance, defeating United Club of Verna 7-3 in a thrilling GFA Futsal tournament match at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim on Wednesday.
Despite a tightly contested first half that ended 2-2, Ambelim SC surged ahead after the break. Ronaldo Pereira and Fredsan Marshal each scored spectacular goals, highlighting the match. Michael Silva, Velon Rebello, and Savan Lotlikar also contributed to Ambelim's impressive goal tally.
For United Club of Verna, Elrich Pereira scored twice, and Daniel Cruz added a single goal. However, their efforts were not enough to overcome Ambelim's strong offensive display.
