PANAJI: Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts will host an open studio and conversation with artists-in-residence Annabel Schenck (France) and Sourav Chatterjee (India) from March 26 to April 5, 10 am to 6 pm. On March 26 at 6 pm, they will discuss their work with Goan printmakers.
During their 45-day residency, Schenck explored traditional engraving techniques with local artists, while Chatterjee’s paintings reflected environmental concerns. Their work examines coastal development, drawing parallels between Panaji and the Mediterranean. The programme encourages interdisciplinary artistic exchanges on contemporary issues.
The residency is supported by the Directorate of Art and Culture, fostering creative collaborations that reinterpret traditional art forms with modern influences.
