PANAJI: A Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) will be held on Thursday, 1 August 2024, at 3 pm in the Pathology Department Seminar Hall at Goa Medical College, Bambolim, Goa.
Dr R.G. Wiseman Pinto will chair the CME, with Dr M Tiwari and Dr Anita Spadigam also participating. The speakers for the event will be Dr Nairica Rebello, Lecturer in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at Goa Dental College; Dr Joel Barbosa Noronha, Resident in the ENT Department at GMC; and Dr Pratisha Jaladi, Resident in the Pathology Department at GMC.
The CME will cover various topics related to mucoepidermoid carcinomas of major and minor salivary glands, including clinical features, diagnosis, incidence, epidemiology, imaging, biopsy, gross and microscopic examination, treatment, types, and prognosis. The CME is open to doctors and medical students and complies with guidelines from the National Medical Council, Goa University, the National Board, and the National Education Policy 2020.
