MARGAO: The Colva police conducted a late-night special drive to curb the menace of drinking in public spaces and to rein in on persons moving suspiciously during the night time.
The police team led by Colva police station in-charge, PI Satish Padwalkar, conducted nakabandi at Benaulim and Colva beaches and parking areas. The police checked around 80 persons and apprehended seven persons in connection with the menace of public drinking.
