Helpage India’s Goa branch is constantly striving to impart Digital Literacy training for elders to avoid being soft targets to fall prey for frauds cheating mishandling / miscalculations in absence of proper knowledge / information on handling of digital gadgets which have become part of everyday life. A programme for Senior Citizens Recreation Centre Pedda, Margao of Lions Club of Margao Service Trust was conducted recently which enlightened them with clear and basic facts and also got a feel of hands-on training on mobile set to handle the application. The programme was attended by seniors in large numbers who greatly benefited by the same and insisted for a repeat session to clear persisting doubts.
