PANAJI: A seven-day special NSS camp organised by Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora, at Shree Sateri Pisani Temple, Kalsai-Dabal, concluded on 29th December 2024 with a valedictory function. Dr Ajay Gaude, CEO of Zilla Panchayat, North Goa, and Managing Director of Goa Handicrafts & Small Scale Industries Corporation, was the chief guest.
Dr Ganesh Gaonkar, MLA of the Savordem constituency, encouraged students to aim high and embrace lifelong learning for societal betterment. Dr. Ajay Gaude urged the students to face life’s challenges with confidence, contribute to society, and focus on helping others. He also motivated them to pursue competitive examinations, emphasising that true success lies in community development. Dr. Gaude was felicitated for recently earning a Ph.D.
Principal Prof. Shaikh Mohammad Parvez Al-Usmani highlighted the importance of such camps in fostering unity among students and strengthening community relationships. The event saw participation from local leaders, NSS programme officers, and staff members. Rajendra Gaunder proposed the vote of thanks, and Suchi Gaonkar compared the function.
