The members of the Goa Gramin Patrakar Sangh, who are on a study tour to Bhubaneswar, Odisha, along with the Director and officers of the Information and Publicity Department called on the Governor of Odisha, Raghubar Das, at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. Governor Das welcomed the visiting journalists saying such tours help to know and understand the unique culture of the State. Dipak Bandekar, Director of Information and Publicity presented traditional kunbi shawl and nandadeep to the Governor. Similarly, the journalists association also called on the Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Surma Padhy. The members of association witnessed the proceedings of the ongoing winter session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly. Dipak Bandekar, Information Officer, Kiran Munankar, Assistant Information Officer, Shyam Gaonkar, Information Assistant Siddhesh Samant, President of the Goa Gramin Patrakar Sangh Uday Sawant, office bearers and members of the association are on the study tour to Bhubaneswar in Odisha to study the different aspects of journalism.
