VASCO: In an effort to support local farmers, artisans, and small vendors, the Purument Pop-Up Market will be held at Ravindra Bhavan, Vasco, from March 24 to March 28. This initiative by Goa Sudharop aims to provide marginalised individuals with a platform to showcase and sell their products while also celebrating Goa’s rich cultural heritage.
Organised with the goal of economic empowerment and cultural preservation, the market will feature a diverse range of traditional Goan products, including coconut oil, vinegar, pickles, sweets, rice, millets, and seafood delicacies like prawn moil and para, as well as handcrafted artefacts, pottery, and cane baskets.
The Purument Pop-Up Market is expected to draw a large number of visitors, including locals and tourists, eager to experience authentic Goan flavours and craftsmanship.
The market will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering visitors a chance to support local talent while indulging in Goa’s time-honoured traditions.
