Carpe Diem art gallery in Majorda will host a series of events in the upcoming weeks to indulge art and theatre enthusiasts. The ‘Art of Letting Go’ workshop, conducted by ShivShera Azeer, will offer attendees a chance to explore meditation and creative expression to enhance self-confidence, improve emotional well-being, and reduce stress. The sessions will be held on three consecutive Sundays – March 30, April 13, and April 27 from 11 am to 12.30 pm.
Carpe Diem will present Athol Fugard’s play ‘A Place with the Pigs’ on April 5, and 6, at 7 pm. Directed by Dnyanesh Moghe, the play features performances by Deepalaxmi Moghe and Daegal Godinho, with production and sound managed by Kimberly Noronha. A collage-making workshop titled ‘Shapes of Expression’ will be conducted by Polish artist Wiktor Salicki on April 6, from 11 am to 1 pm. The workshop will focus on creating art through cut-out shapes and patterns using coloured paper.
