About 150 students completed their course from the Aptech Aviation Academy in Belagavi and were conferred certificates at a convocation ceremony on Sunday.
Most of the students have been placed with some airlines, airports and in top hotels in Goa, other parts of the country and even abroad.
Belagavi North MLA Anil Benake was the chief guest at the function while Belagavi Airport Director Rajesh Kumar Maurya and Adv. Kamal Kishore Joshi were among the guests of honour.
Aptech Belagavi Managing Director Vinod Bamane briefed the gathering about the activities and the world-class training imparted to students.
“Most students enter the academy with uncertainty about their future and walk out with confidence and a job in their kitty,” Bamane said.
In his speech, MLA Benake congratulated the students for their success in their course and said nothing can stop them from achieving whatever they want in life if they put in hard work.
“It is heartening to see girls and boys with vernacular and rural background getting plum jobs. The kind of training imparted amid the safe and secure environment in Aptech Academy that these students experience instils confidence in them in achieving their goals in life,” Benake said.
Belagavi Airport Director Rajesh Kumar Maurya also congratulated Aptech Academy for transforming these students and said it is the commitment, hard work and perseverance that leads to success of the students.
Zonal head of Aptech Aviation Academy Pranita Pareekh, Managing Director of Saraswati Infotech Jyoti Bamane and others also spoke at the ceremony.
The students also expressed their gratitude to the Aptech Aviation Academy, stating that they were initially uncertain about their career and the academy gave them an opportunity to realise their dreams.
