MARGAO
A middle-aged person was killed along the railway tracks in the city after being hit by a running train on Saturday.
Sources said the deceased is believed to be a 43-year-old painter, a native of Uttar Pradesh. He was reportedly heading to his rented room at Navelim when the mishap occurred.
The police is investigating.
