Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday promised that not a single Goan house in the State will be left without water and electricity by December 19, 2021.
He said houses without electricity, especially in the wildlife sanctuary will be provided with solar power alternative.
He also said 18,000 toilets will be ready by March under the government scheme and all those who have paid money will get them.
Sawant asked panchayats to carry out two independent verifications of persons without housing or toilets before seeking funds to provide facilities to them. This will ensure that there is no wastage of funds, he said.
