Health report finds no contamination in samples collected

The water supply to Dongrim was finally resumed after a health report found no contamination in the samples collected.
Information available with The Goan revealed that the water sample collected from complainant Ramkrishna Kuttikar’s house found no coliform organisms in the bacteriological examination.
After the report was available, the water supply was resumed to Dongrim in the evening, thereby bringing relief to the locals. In the morning, the locals were supplied water through water tankers.
Meanwhile, the flushing of the water pipeline in the affected area of Dhaktem Bhat-Dongrim was completed by the PWD, on Tuesday night, and the work was personally supervised by MLA Viresh Borkar and Mandur Sarpanch Prashant Naik.
