MARGAO: A 37-year-old man from Bengaluru drowned at Betalbatim beach on Monday morning.
The incident happened around 8 am when Bharath Krishna Udapa went for a swim after having breakfast at the beach. He is believed to have drowned while swimming.
A 108 ambulance took him to the South Goa District Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. His body has been kept at the hospital for medico-legal procedures.
