Noted National award-winning Film Director and Producer Rajendra Talak has on Saturday announced his upcoming Konkani film “Claudia”.
Under the banner of Rajendra Talak Creations, Rajendra Talak has directed and produced seven Konkani films and four Marathi films.
The Konkani film “Claudia” will be Rajendra Talak’s eight Konkani film. The story, screenplay and direction will be done is by Rajendra Talak and the dialogues by Jnanpith awardee Damodar Mauzo.
Addressing the media, Talak said the film Claudia revolved around a musician and music and will be initially shot at Benaulim.
The lead cast of the film includes Shishir Sharma, known for the roles in films ike Raazi, Uri, Chhichhore etc; Meera Welankar, actress, director of Marathi film Butterfly Mukesh Ghatwal, noted Goan singer, Lulu Fortes and Omar de Loila Pereira.
Sonia Shirsat supported by Dr Jitendra Nagarsekar, Dr Hubert Gomes will be seen in a special appearance supported by child artists Minarva Naval Naik and Maanas Rajendra Talak.
The cinematographer is young talent Deep Uday Sawant from Goa. “Music is by Ashok Pathi and sound by Oscar Award winner Resul Pookutty”, he added.
Film shooting will commence from February 10, in various parts of South Goa. The film is expected to be released during the IFFI 2025 festival.
