In an update provided by Town and Country Planning Minister Vishwajit Rane, it has been clarified that there have been no direct applications received by the Town and Country Planning Board under Section 16B from April 1, 2020, to the present. The Minister confirmed that the Board did not receive any requests for changes to zoning regulations during this period.
Regarding applications approved by the Board, it was stated that the Board has not granted any approvals for changes in zones. Instead, the Board only recommended notifying proposed changes under Section 16B for the purpose of inviting objections and suggestions from the public.
As a result, there have been no applications that were provisionally approved after objections, nor any that received final approval. Consequently, no documents related to such applications are available for distribution.
