The centralised admissions for undergraduate courses across 40 aided and unaided colleges will commence from Friday, with the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) accepting online applications.
Over 17,600 students cleared their Class 12 exams in 2025. A total of 10,000 seats are available across these 40 colleges, with the deadline for the first round of admission to submit applications ending on April 30 at midnight.
Director DHE Bhushan Sawaikar said that the admissions are available for UG programmes such as BA, BCom, BSc, music, theatre, home science, BVoc, BCA, BBA, BA BEd, BSc BEd, BPEd, BA LLB, BSc Agriculture etc.
“Centralised admissions will be carried out for all aided and self-financed UG programmes under the administrative control of DHE Goa,” Sawaikar said.
Colleges offering BBA and BCA programmes will conduct an offline entrance exam for applicants. However, each candidate must register only once on the Samarth e-Gov portal.
Sawaikar said that the candidates can apply to a maximum of five colleges/programmes of their choice. They may also apply to multiple programmes within the same college. The online application process is free of cost.
Students will require their SSC mark sheet, HSSC mark sheet, Aadhaar card or passport copy, all in PDF format, besides a passport-size colour photo in the JPEG format, and signature in the JPEG format while applying online. Additionally, candidates applying under the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH) must provide a valid certificate.
DHE had introduced a centralised online admission system in 2020.
