PANAJI: With the beginning of Season of Lent on Ash Wednesday on March 5, the Immaculate Conception Church at Panaji has arranged special services for the faithful. The Ashes will be blessed at a Solemn Mass at 7am. The ashes will then be applied on the foreheads of the faithful. “The Lent season calls us for conversion, new life as Jesus said: “Repent and believe in the Gospel”,” said Panaji Parish Priest Fr Walter de Sa.
