The police team from Maharashtra with the help of Colva police nabbed two persons from Betalbatim, as they were wanted in a murder crime in Maharashtra.
A police team led by Police Sub-Inspector Pujarwad of Umarga Police Station, Maharashtra appeared at Colva Police Station on Friday in connection with a murder crime and requested police assistance to trace accused person namely Vikas, s/o Dattatray Jamdar@Nilesh, aged 26 years, N/o Kunali Umarga, Maharashtra and Akash Sahadev Mutle, major in age, r/o N/o Kukarde Galli, Zopadpatti Umarga in Maharashtra, both involved in the commission of murder crime.
Accordingly, the Goa police deputed a team consisting of Police Sub-Inspector Prathamesh Mahale, HC Rohan Naik, Police Constables Tony D’Souza, Siddhesh Shirodkar, Akshay Varik, Amar Gaonkar, Satyam Dessai, Satish Madar, and Pandurang Chavan of Colva Police Station with Maharashtra police.
After a massive combing operation, the police managed to apprehend both the accused persons at Ranvaddo in Betalbatim.
They were later brought to Colva Police Station for further formalities before being handed over to the Maharashtra Police.
