The world is changing very rapidly. It is essential to continuously update your training, skills, and capabilities to adapt to the changing professional requirements. This will ensure your survival and success in a modern world where artificial intelligence is impacting every field, said Union Minister Shripad Naik on Saturday.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the 15th Tranche of Rozgar Mela held at the International Centre, Dona Paula. Also present on the dais were Goa’s Commissioner of Customs Sunil Bhimrao Deshmukh, Goa’s CGST Commissioner Bipin Kumar Upadhyay, and Panaji Mayor Rohit Monserrate.

Union Minister Shripad Naik distributed appointment letters to 47 candidates who secured employment in the Central Goods and Services Tax, Financial Services Department (SBI), Employees' State Insurance Corporation, Postmaster General’s Office, Employees' Provident Fund Organization, and Goa Customs.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing, distributed appointment letters to 51,000 newly recruits  across the country for government jobs. Rozgar Mela was organized at 47 centres across the nation, including Goa.

Rozgar Mela is a key initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aimed at empowering the youth and strengthening employment and self-reliance, which are the backbone of the country.

Commissioner of Customs, Goa Sunil Bhimrao Deshmukh welcomed everyone, and  CGST Commissioner of Goa, Bipin Kumar Upadhyay delivered the vote of thanks.
