Among the leading institutions of higher education is the Suresh Angadi Education Foundation’s (SAEF) Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), known for its state-of-the-art campus, acclaimed faculty and quality education to ensure bright career prospects.
Late Suresh Angadi, former union minister of state for railways and four-time Belagavi MP, had established the AITM in 2009, with a dream of offering the best of higher education to students from Belagavi and Goa region.
In 2017, the Angadi School of Architecture (ASA) offering B. Arch. course was established. The SAEF now comprises the AITM, ASA, Angadi College of Commerce & Science (ACCS) and Angadi International School.

Providing more details, Director of Suresh Angadi Education Foundation Dr Spoorti R Patil said the institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, affiliated to VTU, Belagavi and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The AITM offers six undergraduate BE courses in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, CSE, E&C, EEE, Mechanical, Civil, E&E engineering. The institution offers postgraduate course in Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Production Engineering & System Technology (Mechanical Engineering) and Waste Management, Health & Safety Engineering (Civil Engineering).
Besides, six departments have been recognized by VTU as PhD research centres to conduct research work.

The faculty is involved in research work with reputed international journals and conferences, fetched many research grants, filed patents and jointly working with various international and national researchers to carry out quality research work,” said Dr Spoorti Patil.
The institute has a world-class MSME recognised incubation centre and K-Tech laboratories and has a collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
AITM is recognised to conduct Govt of India schemes such as Unnat Bharat Abhiyan programme for rural development and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.
The AITM Training and Placement department focuses on niche area to guide the students to obtain adequate knowledge and skills to compete with the career ladder. This department trains students in many categories such as communication skills, personality development aptitude, quant reasoning, soft skills and company specific training.
