Her Excellency Katharina Wieser, Ambassador of Austria to India paid a courtesy visit to His Eminence Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao at the Bishop's Palace in Panaji. Also present on the occasion was His Grace Simiao Purificacao Fernandes, Auxiliary Bishop of Goa. The ambassador was accompanied by Dattaraj V. Salgaocar, Honorary Consul for Austria and a delegation from the Honorary Austrian Consulate.
Ambassador Wieser was in Goa for a brief two-day visit to attend an official function to celebrate Austrian National Day hosted by the Honorary Austrian Consulate.
