GPCC Vice President Sankalp Amonkar and General Secretary Janardhan Bhandari were felicitated by national leaders for their contribution to the organisation of Congress party.
They were felicitated by Indian Youth Congress (IYC) National President Srinivas BV, IYC In-charge and AICC joint secretary Krishna Allavaru during a two-day National Executive Meeting (NEM) of Indian Youth Congress (IYC) at Bambolim,
The central leaders assured that both Amonkar and Bhandari would “be rewarded befittingly for their selfless service and their loyalty by the Congress Party in future.”
Praising Amonkar and Bhandari for rising to the top cadre of the organisation, Allavaru said their work at every level to strengthen the organisation of Congress had been appreciated.
IYC National President Srinivas BV lauded the contribution of Amonkar and Janardhan Bhandari in various agitations like morchas, dharnas, protest marches and strikes to protest against the government without bowing to any pressure.
He also praised Amonkar and Bhandari for remaining loyal to the Congress in tough situations and for holding the party united in difficult situations without failing to prey to any temptation/offer from other parties.
