MAPUSA:
Anjuna Police have arrested a 24-year-old resident of Assagao on charges of possessing narcotic drugs, valued at Rs 1.10 lakh.
The arrest occurred during a raid conducted on Wednesday near Tembi Ground in Anjuna.
According to the police, Suman Bishwokarma was found in illegal possession of approximately 1.181 kilograms of a substance believed to be Ganja. The estimated value of the seized drugs is Rs 1.10 lakh.
An offence has been registered under the relevant provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Further investigation is underway.
