AURA-2025, the three-day intercollegiate cultural extravaganza organised by the Karnatak Law Society’s Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT), concluded on March 22 with an overwhelming response, college authorities said.
Centred around the theme Rang De Basanti, the festival featured over 40 events, including dance, music, drama, fine arts, and e-gaming, celebrating India’s cultural diversity while providing a platform for students to showcase their talents.
With over 3,500 participants from more than 80 institutions across North Karnataka, Southern Maharashtra, and Goa, AURA-2025 was a major cultural highlight, Principal Dr M S Patil said.
The festival’s grand finale was a live concert by renowned playback singer Sonu Nigam on March 22 at the college campus, drawing a crowd of about 10,000 students and other attendees.
“Building on the legacy of stellar performances by artists like KK, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Shreya Ghoshal in previous years, AURA-2025 reaffirms KLS GIT’s commitment to excellence in academics, culture, and community engagement,” Dr Patil said.
