Belagavi med college holds Graduation Day

Graduating students seen along with the management and staff of Shiv Basav Jyoti Homoeopathic Medical College, Belagavi.

The Graduation Day of Aadhar Education Society’s Shiv Basav Jyoti Homoeopathic Medical College (SBJHMC) at Belagavi was conducted at the Vidhyadhiraj Sabhagraha, Nehrunagar. Noted cardiologist and diabetologist Dr V S Desai and Managing Director of Bharatesh Education Trust Vinod Doddanavar were present as chief guests. Noted homoeopathy practitioners from Mumbai Dr Gopinath Menon and Dr Laxmikant Tangde were present as the guests of honour.
Sixty students, including students from Goa, were conferred with the BHMS degree and a college bulletin was released on the occasion. Dr Vijay Desai encouraged the students and guided them for their future medical practice, while also advising them to keep themselves abreast with continued medical education.
Speaking on the occasion, Doddannavar advised them to continue their quest for higher education, research and analysis in the field of homoeopathy.
Chairman of the college Dr Dashrath Bamane briefed about the institution and its progress. “Faith imposed by the parents and students has helped us in making the college one of the finest in the region. The college new building at Bauxite Road is set amid sprawling 6 acres of land, which is a dream come true and aimed at excelling and in imparting medical education much better in the years to come,” Dr Bamane said.
Four students Dr Nalini, Dr Kaveri V, Dr Pranjali and Dr Chahravarty were awarded as "Best Interns" for excelling in their course. Dr Pooja Bamane, Dr S K Patil, Dr Sangeeta Patil and Dr D L Patil were among those present at the ceremony.
